Guy Madjo's brace helped Aldershot on their way to an emphatic victory over Burton.

The Shots' opener came when Burton failed to clear a free-kick, allowing Peter Vincenti to rifle home.

Greg Pearson missed a fine opportunity to level for the hosts, before Oliver Risser made them pay with a powerful header from Aaron Morris' cross.

Madjo then tapped home Anthony Straker's delivery, before heading home his second to seal the Shots' victory.

Burton Albion manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:

"I'm just disappointed with the energy levels more than anything.

"I felt as though Aldershot did a similar thing as us but they kept their shape, got it forward, people ran into good areas and they hurt us by doing that.

"We didn't play fantastic football. It wasn't 25 passes, but at times we got into good places, but I think we just need to show a little bit more desire in certain areas. "

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth told BBC Surrey:

"They've done themselves the world of good as individuals, and as a group of people.

"There's a lot of young kids in that squad at the moment and there's been pressure on them to perform, but they've been brilliant, absolutley fantastic.

"The goals were clinical and they were good. Once we scored I think we just rose up another level to where we can get to."
