Airdrie United 4-1 Brechin City

Airdrie United strengthened their grip on a promotion play-off place with a comfortable home win against Brechin City.

Derek Holmes fired Airdrie's opener on seven minutes and Ryan Donnelly's overhead kick doubled the hosts' lead.

Paul Lovering converted a penalty for the home side after Paul McLean's foul on Willie McLaren but Bryan Hodge headed a goal back for Brechin before half-time.

Holmes volleyed his second of the day late on to ensure United's win.
