Queen of the South slipped three points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish First Division after a scoreless draw with Falkirk.
Dale Fulton shot weakly at Queens goalkeeper Lee Robinson midway through the first half.
Daniel Carmichael and Scott McLaughlin forced saves from Bairns keeper Michael McGovern after the break.
Fulton had another chance for the visitors late on but he fired wide with the goal at his mercy.
