Manager Andy Morrell's Wrexham play-off rallying call
Andy Morrell has told his Wrexham players they have "every chance" of winning Conference play-off promotion if they replicate their Fleetwood Town display.
The Welsh side
with the Blue Square Bet Premier leaders at Highbury despite midfielder Joe Clarke's dismissal and Wrexham enjoyed the better chances.
Marc Creighton had a header cleared off the line and Mathias Pogba's shot hit the crossbar as Wrexham regained their early-season form.
"If we play like that, then we've got every chance of doing well," said Wrexham boss Morrell.
A Creighton own goal, after Wrexham striker Jake Speight's opener, ensured Fleetwood extended their unbeaten run to 28 games and The Cod Army now require just two points to secure promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.
Second-placed Wrexham, meanwhile, continue to trail Fleetwood by 11 points with four games remaining so are preparing for their second successive Blue Square Bet Premier play-off tilt.
Wrexham's chances of securing the one automatic promotion place were dented by a host of poor performances and two defeats in their previous four games.
But Morrell is determined that the Racecourse club end their four-year non-league stay and win promotion back to the Football League in a play-off final at Wembley.
"The momentum from that game will push us on," said Morrell, following Tuesday's 2-2 draw.

"That was more like us and if we play that well in the next four games, we'll be going into the play-offs with the momentum."
Defender Creighton was part of a victorious Oxford side that beat York 3-1 in the 2010 Conference play-off final at Wembley to win Football League promotion.
"It is the best way to go up," said the 30-year-old.
"It was magnificent and hopefully I can do it again."
