Troy Brown rescued a point for Aldershot with a late equaliser against in-form Dagenham.

Debutant Jordan Roberts and Wilko Risser missed chances for the Shots before Dagenham's Michael Spillane forced a good save from Jamie Young.

The deadlock was broken when Scott Doe headed the visitors ahead from Damien McCrory's corner on the hour-mark.

Dagenham could not hang on, however, and Brown rose high to head in Mekki's cross four minutes from time.
