Macclesfield extended their winless League Two run to 15 games with a dismal goalless draw with Barnet.

The Bees' Matt Smith headed wide early on and then glanced a second effort past the post before the break.

He then missed the rebound after Sam Deering's long-range effort rattled the upright, while Paul Downing was stretchered off during half time.

Izale McLeod rounded home goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell after the break but could only fire wide of the open net.
