Kevin Ellison's strike needed to be smartly turned away by visiting keeper Chris Neal just before the break.

Collins and Nicky Wroe both had long-range shots saved by Barry Roche, before Collins fired in the winner from Ian Sharps' fine pass.

Jon Taylor was then sent off after appearing to headbutt Garry Hunter.
