Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says he did not prepare well enough for his side's last-16 tie with Sporting Lisbon and blames himself for City's Europa League exit.
Sporting lost 3-2 (agg 3-3) at the Etihad Stadium, but won on the away goals rule.
The City boss says he expected an easier time against Sporting after comfortably beating holders FC Porto to reach the last 16.
