Southport sign Bradford striker Darren Stephenson on loan

Southport have signed Bradford City striker Darren Stephenson on a month-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old goes straight into the squad for Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier match with Kettering, where he is expected to make his Port debut.

Stephenson has had previous loan spells in non-league football with Stockbridge Steels and Woodley Sports.

The teenager is set to join recent signings Josh O'Keefe and Ray Putterill at Haig Avenue.
