Arbroath 2-0 Dumbarton
Arbroath extended their unbeaten run to 11 games with a straightforward 2-0 win over third-placed Dumbarton.
After Mark Gilhaney had blazed an early chance for the Sons over the crossbar, two goals in three first-half minutes put the home side firmly in control.
First, Liam Caddis crossed from the left-hand side for Chris Innes to meet 12 yards out and stroke the ball into the bottom-left corner after 23 minutes.
It was 2-0 when Caddis again crossed - this time from the right - and Steven Doris headed in for his 17th goal of the season.
Stuart Malcolm headed over when well-placed as Arbroath looked to extend their lead and they easily saw off the lacklustre visitors.
