Manager Roberto Mancini admits Manchester City "did not play very well" but insists they did not deserve to lose the first leg of their last-16 Europa League tie against Sporting Lisbon.
City lost 1-0 in Lisbon and, although Mancini says it was difficult playing against a team determined to play on the counter-attack, he denies his side did not take their opponents seriously.
