Jack Midson scored two penalties as AFC Wimbledon beat 10-man Bradford City.

The striker opened the scoring when Rob Kozluk fouled Billy Knott, but Pim Balkestein scored an own goal from Craig Fagan's cross to level.

Seconds after the restart Fagan kicked the ball away and was shown a second yellow card and Knott headed home to restore the Dons' lead.

And the game was over when Midson again converted, this time after Jason Euell was adjudged to have been fouled.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson told BBC Radio Leeds:

"We thought the first penalty was nothing and we don't know what the referee has seen.

"I thought the lads who remained on the pitch gave everything.

"But it was one of those nights where everything could have gone wrong and we've got to draw a line under it and move on."
