Carlisle strengthened their play-off aspirations by coming back from a goal down to beat 10-man Bury.
Giles Coke combined with Mike Grella to give the visitors the lead but Liam Noble levelled with a 25-yard effort.
On-loan Sunderland youngster Jordan Cook robbed Bury skipper Phil Picken to put Carlisle in front, before winning a penalty which Lee Miller converted.
The Shakers saw Peter Sweeney dismissed following a clash with Francois Zoko and Miller sealed the win late on.
The result means Carlisle leapfrog Stevenage into seventh place in League One, one point adrift of the play-offs.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Carlisle manager Greg Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria:
"We just felt that the game was levelling out a little bit, we needed something to spark so we brought Jordan Cook on and to be fair, he's not put a foot wrong.
"He scored the goal and got the penalty. He's been frustrated cause he wanted to come [here] for games, he's had to be patient and today he's got his chance."
Bury manager Richie Barker told BBC Radio Manchester:
"For 80 minutes I thought that had 1-1 written all over, absolutely nothing in the game.
"I thought we competed, we looked far more secure, played the best football but didn't quite create as many chance.
"Despite the fact of the other team, an individual error, again, has cost us and I'm fed up of coming out and saying the same thing.
"He [Phil Picken] knows, he's got enough about him to walk in the dressing room and put his hand up, but that's no good when you've come away with no points."
