Barrow picked up their fourth straight victory in impressive fashion at Kidderminster Harriers.

Jack Mackreth's header from Richie Baker's cross was deemed to have crossed the line, despite Tony Breeden's best efforts.

Mackreth was then felled in the area by Callum Gittings, allowing Baker to stroke home the visitors' second goal.

Anthony Malbon pulled one back with a fine strike from the edge of the area, while Barrow's Andy Cook struck a post.

Kidderminster manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"How Barrow found themselves 2-0 up when they did was a setback to all of us.

"We got ourselves back into it but in the second half we couldn't get the two goals we needed to win the game.

"You can't play football on our pitch because it's so dry and bobbly. That's why we're having to go a bit more direct. You've got to play to the conditions."

Barrow manager Dave Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria:

"It wasn't pretty, probably to watch for the neutral

"You haven't got to play well, week in week out, we can do the ugly side of football as well.

"We got ourselves a great start and defended really well in the second half."
