Falkirk 3-0 Queen of the South

Falkirk kept in touch with First Division leaders Ross County with a comfortable win over bottom club Queen of the South.

Goals from Farid El Alagui, William Gibson and Darren Dods moved the home side to level on points with the Staggies, although the Highland side have three games in hand.

The home side took the lead in the 35th minute when El Alagui slammed home from six yards following Gibson's inswinging corner.

And provider Gibson turned goalscorer just a minute later to double his side's advantage, neatly converting from 12 yards.

The visitors created little throughout the match and Falkirk sealed the win with 11 minutes remaining when defender Dods slotted in from close-range following another delivery from Gibson.
