Leon Knight scored twice on his Glens debut to help the Irish League side to victory in the Setanta Cup round, first leg clash at the Carlisle Grounds.
Kieran Waters gave the League of Ireland hosts an 18th minute lead but Eamonn Murray levelled before Waters restored Bray's advantage.
Former Coleraine forward Knight equalised and Jim O'Hanlon made it 3-2.
Richard Clarke missed a penalty for the Glens before Knight secured the win with an 87th minute strike.
