Ten-man Alfreton came from behind to beat Darlington.

Ryan Bowman cut in from the left and fired into the bottom corner to put the visitors ahead.

Nathan Arnold equalised soon after with a low shot from the edge of the area, before Paul Clayton slotted in from close range to give the Reds the lead.

Alfreton's Anton Brown was sent off for a second bookable offence to give the Quakers hope, but Arnold fired in his second to secure victory.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law told BBC Radio Derby:

Brown dismissal irresponsible - Law

"This was a crucial, massive game for us today. It was a real six pointer and I told the players before the game we must come off with three points.

"I was comfortable with that and I thought we would do that, but not after the first 20 minutes.

"However, we grew into the game and we got ourselves 2-1 in front, but for Anton Brown to get sent off was totally irresponsible. Normally, I'll defend them all I can but it was a bad decision by Anton and he put us under pressure.

"However, to be fair to the players, they dug him out and it was a great three points."
