Luton strengthened their push for automatic promotion after comfortably defeating Tamworth at Kenilworth Road.

Stuart Fleetwood fired the hosts into an early lead when he beat Lambs keeper Jonathan Hedge from close range.

The hosts then doubled their advantage when Janos Kovacs headed home Jon Paul-Kissock's free-kick at the far post.

Chez Isaac had gone close for Tamworth just before Kovacs scored, but Francino Francis turned Jake Howells' cross into his own net to compound their misery.

Following this result, Luton have now gone 13 games unbeaten, whilst Tamworth have lost seven of their last 10.
