Pavel Pogrebnyak joins Fulham from Stuttgart

Fulham have signed Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak from Stuttgart on a permanent deal.

Pogrebnyak, 28, has scored eight goals in 30 international games but has been troubled by knee problems in the past  .

He is a Uefa Cup winner, having enjoyed success with Dick Advocaat's Zenit St Petersburg in 2008 .

Fulham, whose top scorer this season is midfielder Clint Dempsey, have agreed to let striker Bobby Zamora move to QPR for a fee in the region of £4m  .
