Tranmere Rovers sign Stoke striker Ryan Brunt on loan
Tranmere have signed Stoke City striker Ryan Brunt on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old joins Rovers after a short loan spell with Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton Town .
"He a decent size as he's about six foot one, he's quick and Stoke think very highly of him," Rovers manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside .
"They've sent him here to get a feel for first-team football and to be around a different club. Hopefully he'll be able to do something for us."
Parry added: "It was always my aim and it's still my aim to bring in an established striker. Someone who can come in and has a record of scoring goals.
"I've put offers in to two Championship clubs to bring in two players, we can't afford both, but hopefully one of them will come in."
