Hereford United sign trio for next season
Townsend played over 100 games for Cheltenham before joining the Bulls.
Hereford United have signed Michael Townsend, Sam Clucas and Dan Hanford on new contracts for next season.
Centre-back Townsend was signed by former manager Simon Davey from Cheltenham in July 2010 and has made over 70 appearances for the Bulls.
Clucas and Hanford both came from the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
Midfielder Clucas has started only one game and come off the bench five times, while goalkeeper Hanford has yet to play in the first team.
