Annan Athletic 2-3 Queen's Park

Scottish Football League

Martin McBride scored two penalties and set up a third goal to help Queen's Park to a 3-2 victory against Annan.

The home side took the lead after two minutes, David Winters drilling into the top corner after good work by Sean O'Connor.

Queen's Park equalised 17 minutes later when Ben McKenna brought down Sean Burns. McBride placed his penalty into the bottom-right corner.

The away side struck again from the spot six minutes after half-time, this time after Aaron Muirhead fouled Ian Watt, and McBride blasted home his kick.

McBride turned provider two minutes from time, crossing for Craig Smith to slot into the bottom-left corner.

Annan got a goal back in injury-time as O'Connor latched on to Ian Harty's cushioned pass to drill home, but they could not force an equaliser.
