Falkirk closed the gap on First Division leaders Ross County to two points as they battled back from two goals down to draw at Raith Rovers.

The hosts took the lead in the 27th minute when defender Grant Murray drilled the ball past Michael McGovern from the edge of the penalty area.

Striker John Baird doubled Raith's advantage six minutes later when he headed Joe Hamill's cross into the top-right corner of the net.

The visitors halved the deficit in the 36th minute through striker Farid El Alagui, who buried his header low into the goal from Kallum Higginbotham's cross.

Falkirk's Darren Dods rescued a point in the 63rd minute as the defender met Mark Millar's cross and nodded powerfully past David McGurn.
