Southend United sign Irish striker Anto Flood

Southend United have signed former Bohemians striker Anto Flood until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old impressed in a behind-closed-doors trial game for the Shrimpers this month.

The former St Patrick's Athletic, Athlone, Shamrock Rovers, Dundalk, Shelbourne, Galway and Orebro man left Bohs at the end of last season.

He could make his United debut against Northampton on Saturday after receiving international clearance.
