Kiernan Hughes-Mason makes switch to Grimsby Town

Grimsby have boosted their strikeforce by signing Kiernan Hughes-Mason until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old, who began his career with Millwall, joins the Mariners from Blue Square Premier rivals Kettering.

He had a brief trial with Grimsby last summer and impressed during a pre-season friendly at Brigg Town.

Hughes-Mason's arrival is balanced by the departure of forward Damian Spencer, whose Grimsby contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.
