Mark Lawrenson's FA Cup predictions

BBC Sport football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest pundit each week this season.

His opponent for selected ties on FA Cup third-round weekend is former Wrexham winger Mickey Thomas who, 20 years ago this week, scored a spectacular free-kick to help the Welsh side beat Arsenal in one of the biggest shocks in the competition's history.

Thomas correctly tipped the Dragons to force a replay against Brighton, while Lawro was spot-on predicting a 2-0 victory for Everton against Tamworth.

Both expected Sunday's all-Manchester tie, which United won 3-2 at City, to end level.
