Martin O'Neill proud of Sunderland's 'best win' at Wigan

Martin O'Neill's Sunderland move into the top half of the Premier League as his impressive start as manager continue with a 4-1 win over Wigan at the DW Stadium, his first win on the ground in the Premier League.

O'Neill says he has been surprised to find a "magnificent" player like James McClean at the club, who he previously had not been aware of.

The result takes the Black Cats' points tally to 13 from six matches since the former Aston Vill boss has been in charge and means Roberto Martinez's Wigan remain in the relegation zone.
