Wilson has played more times for Scotland than Liverpool this season

Blackpool have signed Liverpool defender Danny Wilson on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Scotland international has made nine appearances for the Reds in all competitions since his £2m switch from Rangers in 2010.

He will be eligible for the Tangerines in the FA Cup, although the deal includes a recall option for Liverpool.

Boss Ian Holloway told the club website:  "He's a very good defender. We've got to stop goals going in."
