Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson says the third goal killed any chances they had of winning having come back from a two-goal deficit against Blackburn.
The game finished 3-2 to the Premier League strugglers and Ferguson believes United were hamstrung by a lack of fit centre backs, having to play Michael Carrick out of position and a heavy pitch.
