Ollie Jones's first ever professional goal ensured Kettering secured a point against felllow strugglers Bath.
Scott Murray's wonder strike gave the visitors the lead early in the second half as the midfielder lobbed Laurie Walker from 35 yards.
Jones levelled late on with a fine 25-yard shot before Djoumin Sangare went close to making it 2-1 with a volley.
The match was Poppies striker Leon McKenzie's last as a professional before retiring.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Kettering Town manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Northampton:
"In the end, I thought we could have nicked it. In the first half, it was two teams struggling to find fluency in their football.
"Murray has picked out a 25-yarder. But full credit to the players, they had a go at it and Jones didn't just perform well, he got the equaliser. He should be buzzing.
"We'd have loved three but we'll take a point. The fans were second to none, and long may that continue."
