SFL games off at Ayr, Brechin, Forfar, Peterhead and Clyde

Four Scottish Football League matches are postponed because of snow and ice, adding to Ayr v Ross County being called off due to storm damage.

Thursday's high winds damaged the main stand at Ayr's Somerset Park, meaning their game against the First Division leaders could not go ahead.

On Saturday, Brechin, Forfar, Clyde and Peterhead's pitches failed inspections.

Arbroath's visit to Cowdenbeath in Division Two goes ahead after Central Park passed a second inspection.

The Fife club, who sit top of the table on goal difference from their visitors, thanked more than 30 volunteers from the local community who helped clear a covering of snow off the pitch

However, the snow forced Cowden to close their terracing, which meant that entry would be limited to the main and old stand.

Heavy overnight snow was also cleared from the pitch at Recreation Park, allowing Alloa Athletic to host Queen's Park in Division Three.

Dates have yet to be announced for the rescheduled games.
