Chris Wilder praises Oxford United youth set-up
Wilder's U's are two points off the play-offs in League Two
Oxford United boss Chris Wilder is confident that the club's youth set-up is in a healthy state.
The U's youngsters take on their counterparts from Bolton Wanderers at the Kassam Stadium in the third round of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday.
He told BBC Oxford: "There's some cracking players through the youth team, across all the age groups.
"The fans want to see local young players coming into the first-team and hopefully we can have that soon."
He added: "It's going to take a lot of work but in the long run I think the structure of the youth team is in a good place.
"Hopefully we can start pulling players back from clubs like Reading and some of the Premier League teams.
"We want young players to look at our club and see that they can have a future here."
