MK Dons survived a late scare to beat Barnet in the FA Cup second round.
The Dons led 1-0 at the break thanks to Darren Potter's 18-yard drive and Charlie McDonald doubled the lead by rounding keeper Dean Brill to tap home.
Izale McLeod gave the Bees hope with three minutes left from a rebound after Sam Deering's effort.
But that revival only lasted a matter of seconds and Daniel Powell scored after Dean Lewington put him through one-on-one with Brill.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez told BBC London 94.9:
"I don't think it was a fair result, not on the reflection of play.
"The goals and mistakes came at crucial times in the match.
"At crucial moments they took their chances and we didn't and that what's cup ties are all about."
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"You have to give Barnet credit. I think they made a tremendous cup tie. People say that it doesn't have the glitz and glamour it once had, but today showed it is special.
"Barnet had a right good go. I just thought we had class at the right time, and if we wanted to kill the game off we always could.
"It was one of our worse performances, but we got three goals."
