Stevenage land Arsenal striker Luke Freeman

Stevenage have signed Arsenal youngster Luke Freeman on loan until 8 January, with the view to an extension.

The 19-year-old scored twice in 13 league games during a spell with Yeovil last season  .

The Gunners signed the forward from Gillingham in 2008  , after he had made three Gills appearances.

While at the Priestfield Stadium he became the youngest ever player to feature in the FA Cup proper  , playing against Barnet in November 2007.

He was aged 15 years and 233 days at time and came on as an 83rd-minute substitute in the 2-1 loss.
