Queen of the South 0-0 Partick Thistle

Scottish Football League

Queen of the South and Partick Thistle had to settle for a goalless draw in an evenly-matched game at Palmerston Park.

Thistle's Thomas Stewart lobbed on to the top of the net in the 17th minute, then a Scott McLaughlin strike clipped the post for Queens to leave the score at 0-0 going in to the break.

Queens started the second half well, with a string of chances that could have given them the advantage with Kevin Holt, Nicky Clark and Stephen McKenna all coming close.

Thistle had the best chances to win the match, when in 89 minutes, Chris Erskine shot over from eight yards out and then Christie Elliot lobbed over the top of the bar from six yards.
