Derry striker Eamon Zayed wins PFAI award

Derry City striker Eamon Zayed has won the PFAI player of the year award.

The Libyan international scored 23 goals for the Candystripes last season and helped the club to a League Cup triumph.

The forward becomes the first player from the Brandywell outfit to win the award since 2005.

Zayed, whose goals were key to Derry's qualification for Europe, was also named in the Premier Division team of the season.
