Forfar Athletic 0-2 Albion Rovers

Scottish Football League

Robert Love's double gave Albion Rovers victory over Forfar Athletic, meaning both sides sit on 11 points at the bottom of the Second Division.

John Gemmell volleyed over as the visitors threatened early on.

Love coolly slid Simon Marriott's through ball past goalkeeper Greg Paterson to put Rovers ahead in first-half injury time.

And, from Alan Reid's thrown-in, Love fired a second 13 minutes after the break to double Forfar's deficit.

Gemmell forced a save from Paterson as Albion Rovers continued to dominate.

Forfar remain ninth but are now only above Albion Rovers on goal difference.
