Arbroath 1-0 Stenhousemuir

Scottish Football League

Arbroath moved level on points with Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath after Steven Doris's late penalty proved to be the only goal against Stenhousemuir.

Doris's left-footed effort from the edge of the area struck the crossbar in the 49th minute.

But Doris had another chance to score six minutes from time after Stenny goalkeeper Chris McCluskey was adjudged to have fouled the striker.

McCluskey was sent off for foul and abusive language in the aftermath of the spot-kick award and substitute keeper Alistair Brown was beaten from 12 yards by Doris.
