Huddersfield keeper Ian Bennett saved two penalties to secure his side a draw at Scunthorpe.

The hosts led through Oliver Norwood's fine 25-yard shot only for Tommy Miller's fierce strike to level it.

Bennett brilliantly saved Chris Dagnall's spot-kick before the break and then proved equal to Michael O'Connor's effort after the interval.

The Terriers thought they had won it from Jordan Rhodes' volley before Dagnall poked home to grab a point.

Huddersfield, who are now unbeaten in 40 League One matches, trail league leaders Charlton by three points.

Scunthorpe, who have drawn nine of their 15 league games this season, sit in 16th - two points outside the relegation zone.

Scunthorpe United boss Alan Knill told BBC Radio Humberside:

"I think a draw in the end was probably a fair result. There was no better chance to beat Huddersfield than tonight.

"The takers will say they were great saves but I don't think they're great saves. They're not great penalties.

"We've had many games where we've struggled to get a draw but we should have been out of sight."

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark told BBC Radio Leeds:

"I thought we played some fantastic stuff and scored a sensational equaliser. We continued to press and made some terrific opportunities that just didn't fall our way.

"We scored a terrific goal by the man in form and at that stage you hope you can see the game out.

"But we've made an individual error that's cost us two points so you feel frustrated and disappointed, but as I said to the lads, in the cold light of day this could be an important point for us."
