Rotherham stretched their winless run to eight games after a draw with fellow promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury.

Lewis Grabban put the Millers in front with a spectacular solo effort, running from his own half before crashing home from 25 yards out.

The visitors levelled when Jermaine Grandison headed Mark Wright's free-kick back across goal for Shane Cansdell-Sherriff to volley home.

Marcus Marshall curled just over as the hosts searched for an elusive winner.

Rotherham boss Andy Scott told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"It's probably a fair result. We were a much better side in the first half.

"It was disappointing to see the goal just before half-time but we did very well in the first half, created a lot of chances and we got the ball to our dangerous players and caused a lot of problems and looked more solid defensively.

"We just didn't really get going in the second half. We had a couple of half-chances and we bounced the ball around a little. They had a couple of shots that were nothing really major.

"We've lost some games but we've played pretty well for the majority of the game. The first half was how we've been playing other games recently. We just don't seem to be able to get going in the second half and it's frustrating."
