Stirling Albion claimed a narrow win against 10-man Brechin City in the Second Division.

The home side's Scott Davieson struck the crossbar before Darren Smith converted Joshua Flood's cross to claim the game's only goal on 19 minutes.

Brechin were reduced to 10 men just before the half-hour when James Lister was sent off for a tackle on Gary Thom.

The visitors pushed for a late leveller and Graham Weir's header was comfortably saved by Sam Filler.
