East Fife edged out Forfar Athletic in a seven-goal thriller.

John Ovenstone headed the hosts ahead but Kevin Byers nodded Forfar level in the 19th minute.

The Fifers' second goal by David Muir was cancelled out by Ovenstone's own goal but Robert Ogleby regained the home side's lead before half time.

Joe Shaughnessy headed a third leveller but the visitors had Adam McHugh sent off for a professional foul and Ryan Wallace fired the Fifers' late winner.
