Everton's Louis Saha is a game changer - Sylvain Distin
Everton striker Louis Saha still has the ability to change games, according to Blues defender Sylvain Distin.
"He's a game changer for us and we see that every time he's on the pitch," Distin told BBC Radio Merseyside .
"We're going to need everyone but Louis is an amazing player. If we can keep him fit then he can change our season."
He added: "People only see him in games but I play against him everyday and trust me he's a pain. He's sharp, he's strong and he's really good with the ball.
SAHA'S EVERTON CAREER
- 2008/9 - 8 goals in 31 games
- 09/10 - 13 goals in 42 games
- 10/11 - 10 goals in 30 games
"The defenders behave differently because you've got a tough striker. He creates space, he scores goals he does a bit of everything."
Everton have a tough run of fixtures before the end of October with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United on the horizon.
But Distin says the players will not feel more pressure during this period: "I've been in England for 10 years now and I can't remember any easy games.
"Sometimes we feel like playing those big teams are going to be the toughest games, but everyone has got quality in their team.
"So the big games won't be more difficult than the ones we'll play later on through the season."
