Ebbsfleet recorded their first home win of the season as two goals from Calum Willock and one from Michael West extended Bath's miserable start.
Willock put the Fleet ahead with a powerful 20-yard shot before West hit the crossbar from the same distance.
But West was not to be denied as he later fired home from the edge of the area from Craig
Stone's fine pass.
Ebbsfleet Utd 3-0 Bath City
Willock grabbed his second, heading in a Stone cross, as bottom-placed Bath remain without a victory this campaign.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent:
"I thought we were excellent tonight. I'm pleased that the lads have got their win and kept their clean sheet.
"If we can draw confidence, keep gaining it, we'll start making more of the right decisions.
"I though he (Paul Lorraine) was outstanding. He's a credit to himself the way he's kept himself so fit. He's different class."
Bath City manager Adie Britton told BBC Radio Bristol:
"I can't say anything about the football in the first 20, 25 minutes - we passed it silkily, got in behind them and they were really on the back foot.
"Unfortunately they shot from distance, it's clipped someone and gone in the top corner.
"It's just an really unlucky sort of episode you get when you're in this situation. From then on it was a massive uphill task."
