Airdrie United romped to victory against local rivals Albion Rovers in the Second Division.

Sean Lynch's close-range finish opened the scoring for the hosts and Ryan Donnelly added a second after creative work by David Lilley.

Jamie Stevenson promptly converted a penalty after Albion's Alan Reid fouled Jamie Bain and Donnelly grabbed his second before the break.

Rovers' lost a man when Ciaran Donnelly was sent off for violent conduct.
