Goalkeeper Paul Farman extends Gateshead contract
Gateshead have handed goalkeeper Paul Farman a contract extension until the end of the 2011-12 season.
The 21-year-old has been ever-present for the Tynesiders so far this term, having been told to earn his place by boss Ian Bogie during the close season .
Farman, who has kept two clean sheets in six starts, made only six appearances in total during 2010-11, due to the form of Tim Deasy.
Bogie signed the player from rivals Blyth Spartans in the summer of 2009.
Meanwhile, striker Gary Mulligan, who was also on a month-to-month contract, has signed a short-term deal that will expire in January.
