Dundee 0-1 Morton

Scottish Football League

Peter MacDonald's early goal gave Morton an away win over Dundee.

The striker blasted home from close-range after good set-up work by David O'Brien on the right-hand side.

Dundee almost equalised just after half-time when Rhys Weston's volley was spectacularly saved by Morton goalkeeper Colin Stewart.

Michael Tidser had his close-range free-kick tipped around the post by Robert Douglas on the hour mark as Morton pressed for a second.
