Swansea youngster Lee Lucas is in the second year of his professional career

First-half goals by striker Craig Beattie and young midfielder Lee Lucas guided Swansea City to a comfortable pre-season win at Afan Lido.

Beattie converted his second pre-season goal when Joe Walsh's left-wing cross dropped to the Scottish striker to fire in from close-range in the 16th minute.

Lucas doubled Swansea's lead with a cool left-footed shot into the corner after a neat one-two with Luke Moore.

Stephen Dobbie failed to extend Swansea's lead from the penalty spot.

Chris Curtis, the goalkeeper of Welsh Premier League Afan Lido, dived to his left to save Dobbie's second half spot-kick after Casey Thomas was fouled by Chris Pridham.

Swansea will travel to Austria on Monday for a pre-season training camp ahead of their first Premier League season which starts at Manchester City on 15 August.
