Midfielder Joe Oastler has signed a permanent two-year deal with Torquay United.
The 20-year-old, who was
released by Queens Park Rangers
at the start of June, spent most of last season on loan with the Gulls, making 23 appearances.
Gulls boss Martin Ling said: "Joe did a good job for the club last season and his versatility comes into play.
"He can play at right-back and many from QPR would say that is his best position."
Ling continued: "He can also play at centre-midfield and centre-back if neeeded, so his versatility and his performances last year haver earned him a two-year contract.
"He is now a fully fledged Torquay United player and will be looking to kick-on in his career."
