Hibernian have confirmed 10 summer departures, including midfielder John Rankin and striker Colin Nish.
Top scorer Derek Riordan's future is still to be settled, while decisons are pending on Graham Stack, Liam Miller and Ricardo Vaz Te.
Steven Thicot, Kevin McBride, Kevin McCann, Valdas Trakys, Thomas Flynn, Kurtis Byrne and Ewan Moyes are leaving Easter Road.
Darryl Duffy will return to Bristol Rovers after a season-long loan deal.
Former Falkirk striker Duffy, drafted in as a replacement for Anthony Stokes - who was sold to Celtic in August - broke a bone in his foot just days after arriving at the club.
Since recovering, he has only made two starts for the Edinburgh club.
Experienced duo Rankin and Nish leave after four seasons with Hibs but they have been peripheral figures this season under manager Colin Calderwood and it is no surprise that their contracts are not being renewed.
A statement on
read: "The manager and everyone at the club wishes all the players the very best for their future careers and thanks them for their commitment and service to Hibernian FC.
"Discussions with other players out of contract this summer are ongoing, and further updates will be provided after the season has finished."
Meanwhile, midfielder Lewis Stevenson, who can also operate at left-back, has agreed a one-year contract extension.
The 23-year-old, who was man-of-the-match when Hibs won the League Cup in 2007, has been a bit-part player over the last two seasons.
"I'm getting to an age where I need to stake a claim to be a more prominent member of the squad," said Stevenson, who has been at Easter Road since he was 14.
"The squad is young and full of potential and I'm happy to be part of the manager's plans."
